GMC Tracking Vehicle
GMC 450hp heavy duty 3500 crew cab set up as a full tracking vehicle with air bags or can be used to tow any of our low loaders. It has an inverter and is set up inside to take up to 4 monitors. Fully scaff / speed rail rigged and has front and rear platforms. As with our other trucks it can be used for multiple purposes.
Mercedes ML63 AMG Arm Car
ML63 AMG 530hp Mercedes –one of the ultimate camera cars used around the world with big hp and big brakes along with the best self-levelling air bagged suspension system in the world. Our car is primarily setup with our ULTRA ARM / RUSSIAN ARM remote crane and has seating for up to 6 with the arm operator being able to operate in either the rear or front. It has 6 monitors on board with play back. The arm can be removed reasonably quickly, and the camera car used as a post and beam setup. We have had this car and arm package doing full movements at 180kph delivering a rock-solid image. Our main head package is the Ronin 2 however it can take other light weight gimble heads like the Movi XL. This car is also able to take a bigger arm.
Ford F350 Crane Truck
Ford F350 crane truck / tracking vehicle, originally built in the USA as a Camera Car. It was modified further with the addition of the 24ft Road Runner crane (famous in NZ). This truck runs a high performance 500hp engine fully kitted with airbag suspension. The crane can be removed, and the truck can also tow our low loaders. It has platforms for the roof, front, rear and sides making this truck multi-purpose. It is setup so the Director and DOP or Focus Puller sits down inside the chassis rails with monitors and equipment out of the way. This truck has been a part of the NZ Film Industry for many years delivering both as a crane truck and tracking vehicle.
Low Loader
Low loader / Process Trailer. This is a very versatile and proven film trailer that is fully setup with rigging mounts and side platforms ready to plug and play. The set ups are infinite. It is big enough to take most bigger cars like American or European. We have shot motorcycles and even had an aeroplane on it
Ford Ranger 4x4
Our Ford Ranger Ute has been extensively modified and like most of our fleet is multipurpose. It is used as our off-road camera arm car and can be fitted with our ULTRA ARM in just a few hours. Rigged for scaff / speed rail and platforms etc and has hidden mounting and rigging points all around it. Our post and beam rigs can also be setup front and rear. It can be used as an on-set Grip Assist vehicle or to carry crew and gear etc.
Pilot Vehicle
Our certified class 1 and 2 pilot vehicle is mainly used to keep our crew, cast and the public as safe as we can while using our tracking vehicles and low loaders on public roads. We have many years of on set film and television experience and fully understand what we do, senstive, wide or oversize loads with our operators having the correct licences. We are also able to pilot for the private heavy haulage sector. Safety is everything to us.
Tow Dolly / Bike Rig
This an alternative to an A frame which is set up to rig off. We don’t recommend using this as an alternative to a low loader as they can be dangerous and awkward to use so we really only use this for motorcycles. It does, however have its place on certain jobs..
Post & Beam Rigs & Mounts
We have 2 of these which are adjustable and can be mounted on almost any vehicle with scaff rigging. The beams / arms have 2 modes - short or long with a 400mm extension. The tongue can be slid in and out by 200mm and both can take the heaviest payloads.
40 ft / 12.5m Transporter
Enclosed 40ft / 12.5 meter Transport Trailer - fully wired for 12 and 240 volts. Has onboard 5 kva generator, commercial air compressor, 5t winch, full roller cabinets, rollout draws and a stainless steel work bench with electrical plugs and led lighting. It has outside work lights and airline fittings running the length of the trailer. We use this to transport our camera cars and equipment as well as picture cars, and other film vehicles. We can also transport private race cars, vintage cars, hot rods and high-end performance vehicles.
MoVI XL
MoVI XL can be mounted on camera cars, tracking vehicles, motorcycles, cranes etc.
